The last time I tried Monotone I found it complicated to start
with. If it's the choice would be better to go to git then (or even,
cogito that's easier to use and has the majority of features).

As I described in my other mail, I think that darcs looks to be the
best option for us.

If there's interest to have a try with darcs I can use tailor and
migrate our repository to it. Should be done without much hassle.
