[parted-devel] oops. parted-1.9.0 includes outdated gnulib

Hi Joel,

Thanks for making the release.

However, your commit, 95486a979a8862df9f6f2129c2d9f35221340583

    Point gnulib submodule to an existing object ref.
    * gnulib: Update submodule to latest.

did not update to the latest.  Rather, it undid my change
and backdated the gnulib submodule to July 14.

Without the latest gnulib (including my maint.mk fix of this morning),
"make dist" would not succeed for me, because the bug would _usually_
cause xz to segfault.

Other than that, of the week's worth of changes that have been
removed, it appears that none should affect parted, so it's
not worth making a new release.

I've just reverted the above commit.


BTW, you still need to push the signed tag that you presumably
have created, and to send the release announcement email.
The tag must point to the code that is in the signed/released tarball.
