If any help is needed here just let me know.

Another improvement that could help users would be to add a
"linux" flag corresponding to 0x83 on MS-DOS and 0fc63daf... on
GPT. That way users can see that type even when not knowing the
ids/UUIDs by heart. With the latest changes the patch should be
small and easy. It would just not be possible to turn the flag
off.
