[Piuparts-devel] Bug#447214: piuparts: retry on apt-get calls

Package: piuparts
Version: 0.28
Severity: wishlist

Hash: SHA1

I've setup piuparts to use my local installation of apt-cacher.
Sometimes by some unknown reason there's a 500 error returned when for
example apt-get install foo bar is called.

I'd be nice to have an option to make piuparts retry the same apt
operation X number of times (or at least try one more time).

It's kind of annoying to wait until piuparts creates the base system
and then fails to install one of the dependency packages because of an
error returned by apt-cacher.
