I thought so too, but then... a whole package for piuparts-master.py? 

So, the only reason left is to have something work out of the box. And IMO the 
only sensible setup is master+slave on the same machine (well, we could 
support out-of-the-box setup on different hosts with predefined hostcases, but 
thats rather special casing so no..), so.. this could be installed by a 
piuparts-service package (shipping both master+slave.py as well as -report.py 
etc..), maybe defaulting to disabled in /etc/defaults/piuparts.

Thats my current idea at least ;-)
