Hi,

so I've merged your code now, despite there is one thing I'm still not
happy with:

the option -k/--keep-tmpdir is now confusingly/incorrectly named,
because in the case of docker (and schroot) environments, no temp.
directory is kept, but rather the environment.

So (I believe) we should introduce --keep-env (also -k) and deprecate
--keep-tmpdir now, but still support the latter until after the buster
release. 

Is that possible easily in a non-hackish way?


and then, btw, is docker finally usable in Debian (sid/buster) without
packages from outside Debian?
