Depends on what the acpi-support script does. Please keep in mind that the
script got moved not deleted. So as you might guess, it is still there.

Is this question written to piss someone off? :-)
Please check the history of the package, there were a lot of problems with
these scripts. If the ones in acpi-support* do not work correctly please report
that as a bug ut blaming the daemon does not seem to help. The post-Lenny
removal of the acpid scripts has been decided some time ago. Actually there
some tries before Lenny that just proved to not be smooth enough this short
before a release. That's why we do it now.
