[Pkg-acpi-devel] Bug#587656: acpid 1:2.0.6-1 bug report

Did it generate input before installing acpid? Was acpid the only package you
installed? Do you have acpid configured to load modules? What happens if you
reboot and prevent /etc/init.d/acpid from running? And what happens if you just
stop it?

> not turned on when pressed from the USB keyboard

So it does generate input? Sorry, but it would help if you could be a little
bit more precise. There's a huge difference between two keys not working and a
fully unfunctional keyboard.
