Hi,

libhydrogen will go away, the library is now part of the hydrogen
package itself. I have asked the release team to hint it for removal.
So don't worry about this package.
Anyhow, brave :)

Ah, on another topic. ALSA depends on JACK, because of the JACK plugin
for ALSA. I think it would make sense to drop this plugin for now,
and release ALSA from the burden of the jack dependency.

The problem with the plugin is, that it seems to only work with
aplay, and with no other software I have tried yet, so it seems to be
pretty useless.

Later it still could be added as a separate source package. I am in
contact with the author of the plugin, and we hope that it will be
fixed some day.

Greetings,

Guenter
