[Pkg-alsa-devel] alsa module for 2.4.25?

Sorry to bother you folks, but I need alsa modules for the 2.4.25 
kernel. I'm an old hand at UNIX, but I'm brand new to Debian and don't 
yet know how to create them for my self in a Debian compatible way. I 
would really appreciate it if you could point me to a howto that 
explains how to build these modules myself. Is it safe to just use the 
old ./configure;make;make install on the alsa source? Will doing that 
conflict with new alsa packages when they come out?

I'd be happy if you released versions for the 2.4.25 kernel, but I would 
rather know how to do it myself.
