[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#249505: alsa-source: CONFIG_SND_CS46XX_NEW_DSP is not y by default as before

Package: alsa-source
Version: 1.0.4-3
Severity: normal

Please set CONFIG_SND_CS46XX_NEW_DSP=y in the build process as all alsa-source would do before 1.0.4.

It would be nice for those of us using the snd-cs46xx module to be able to enable the iec958 outputs/inputs without having to go in an force compilation manually now. Can we either set it by default like it used to be or perhaps a debconf config value would be more flexible?
