package: alsa-base
Version: 1.04-3
The last version of alsa-base I used was 1.0.2c-3. That version
supported forcing the modules to unload in /etc/apm/event.d/alsa and
then later after a resume reloading the modules.
This functionality seems to have been removed in the current package.
ON my hardware, however, that functionality is necessary in order to
get sound to work across a suspend.
Fixing this problem is important to me because I'm blind and depend on
sound for text to speech output.
I'm opening the bug now, but I need to upgrade my kernel modules to
see if a more modern alsa has better APM support. If so, I will close
this bug. If it does not help things then I'd like to work with you
to find a solution to get that functionality back.
