[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#339804: alsa-base: Running reportbug after dpkg-reconfigure linux-sound-base

Hi Thomas,

It works after running dpkg-reconfigure linux-sound-base. The big
question is that running it showed that alsa was chosen as sound system
so what change the situation is a mystery. I still have the file showing
the modules loaded before. Would you like me to send a diff compaired to
the present state?

My system is one which I have upgraded since potato-time I the problem
first occured when installing the lastest udev package which instructed
me to purge hotplug. Maybe installing alsa-base should force
reconfiguring linux-sound-base in the post-inst script or at least
instruct people to run it?
