anymore

Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.12-1
Severity: normal

I just upgraded all ALSA packages from version 1.0.11-7 and was left out with no audio output in my system. Suddenly all software started refusing to play audio. Wine says "ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:846:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to create IPC shm instance." Totem-xine and gstreamer's playbin don't say much, but they don't work either.
Downgrading libasound2* back to 1.0.11-7 brought the audio back. All other ALSA packages remain at the latest version.
Note that the mixer was working, although I'm not sure whether it relies on libasound2 to operate.
