If your machine is a [amd64 ppc64] lib32asound2-dev is needed for
build. Check debian/control file for more infos. But anyway,
dpkg-buildpackage should check dependencies.
Here on my amd64 everything builds fine, though.
Do you smell something burning or ist it me?
