[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#461826: mic doesn't work

I have exactly the same problem. I'm trying to set my external 
microphone (don't have internal one) working.

I have the same intel card in my HP NX7300 notebook.

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High 
Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)

Everything works great except a microphone.

I've tested that with kernel 2.6.23.10, 2.6.24 and some others.
I'm using Debian lenny/testing distribution.
