I've started discussing the update to 1.0.17.

For now, I've uploaded alsa-lib to experimental, as the shlib bump would
make an unstable upload problematic. Please test 1.0.17 from
experimental (currently available for i386) and tell us ASAP of problems
you might find.

I'll send an email to the release list tomorrow to see what they think.
Seeing lenny will have kernel 2.6.26, it'll probably be a good idea to
sync libasound2 and the in-kernel drivers versions.
