[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#470865: libasound2: Playing two sounds results in rate change.

Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.16-2
Severity: important

When starting sound in a second program (let's use two music
players as examples, xmms and mpd), the sound in one speeds up and the
other does not play, or plays at an incredibly slow rate.

Mpd output was via hw:1,1 and xmms was set to dmix:1 for the test.

This appears to be a regression or a new bug as this bug does not exist
in versions <= 1.0.15
