The drivers from 1.0.18 aren't packaged in Debian. So you have to
compile them by yourself.

We can't help. We don't have an Asus PRO72S handy for testing.
Please file a bug at https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/ and
let us know the bug#. I'll monitor the bug as well.

The bug is first reported at 080925. Lenny is freezed since
August.... or was it June? Ask the release team ;)
