Here are new versions of the patches, which I think will be acceptable
upstream.

I was unable to build alsa-source using module-assistant, before and
after these patches.  include/sound/Makefile is copied or linked into
alsa-kernel/include/Makefile and then gets invoked again there, which
doesn't work.  I'm attaching another patch
(kluge_alsa-kernel_include_makefile.patch) to work around that.  I don't
know what a proper fix would look like.

I've also attached the diff for all of this against your svn repository.
Note the reordering of patches in debian/patches/series.
