[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#632300: alsa-base: sound has stopped working after the last kernel upgrade on debian testing to 2.6.39-2-686-pae.

As described.  I have checked the levels in alsameter to ensure nothing is muted.  I also noted that I can generate feedback through the speakers by turning up the internal mic which suggests it is not a hardward problem.
