Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.25+3
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I have an iMac 12,1 and an imac 13,2. On both machines the internal speakers work after a fresh install of Jessie but the headphones do not. Adding the line "options snd-hda-intel model=imac27_122" to the end of /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf fixes the issue on both machines. I don't know if it is technically the correct fix, but it does work. I don't know what needs to be changed to get it to auto-configure correctly, but it would be excellent if it did.
Thanks,
Paul
