Hi maintainers of src:apparmor in Ubuntu,
[keeping Simon in Cc because I suspect he's interested in this topic
for Apertis — whose fork of Ubuntu's src:apparmor is already
maintained in Git.]

Ping? I'd like to merge this in Debian soon but one of the main goal
is to ease Debian/Ubuntu/derivatives' maintainers job; if this does
not get buy in from you folks and you don't want to do this change in
Ubuntu, doing this on Debian would actually be counter-productive.
Is there anything I can do to ensure we do this switch in
a coordinated way and in time for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?
Cheers,
