Actually, the Git history I have synthesized for Apertis was supposed to
be the shared history of all distros, and I was going to upload it to
Alioth… but that never happened :) It had a minor benefit over the
original history in that it had the whole source tree in the debian
branches, not just the debian/ directory. (I've actually spent quite a
lot of time to complete that.)
And then in 2.12-1 you migrated to Git yourself, in a different way. Oh
well :)
