Right. So far I've refrained from claiming there that Buster will ship
with AppArmor enabled by default: there's still a — hopefully slight —
chance this gets reverted before the Buster release.

FYI, all this information was added to the Buster release
notes already. I bet the publicity team will use this information to
spread the news :)
(d-d-a@ is about "Announcements for developers" so I don't think it's
a suitable place to communicate with end users "who are not super
power users".)

Absolutely! We're on the same page: #874873 is the last AppArmor thing
I really really would like to complete before the Buster release.
