Package: bacula-common
Version: 5.2.6+dfsg-9.1
Severity: normal

After installation it was not clear to me if passwords were auto-generated of
where defaults during the installation

Even tho it does the right thing (auto-generate passwords) it should be
explained for the peace of mind

I suggest several changes:

common_default_passwords:
from:
# This file holds defaults for new Bacula packages installed on this system.
# It is used only when you install a new Bacula package, and can be
# safely removed at any time.

to:
# This file has been autogenerated during the package installation and
# it holds defaults for new Bacula packages installed on this system.
# It is used only when you install a new Bacula package, and can be
# safely removed at any time.

man bacula:
in the CONFIGURATION section add:
Please, notice default passwords are auto-generated during the first
installation and you dont need to provide your own

README.Debian
from:
USERS & SECURITY
================

Make sure you customize the passwords in the files in /etc/bacula.

to:
USERS & SECURITY
================

Passwords in /etc/bacula are auto-generated during installation. They are saved
in /etc/bacula/common_default_passwords. This file can be safely removed after
installation

I can provide this in the form of a patch if requested, but you can probably
put a more accurate text than mine :>
