Hmmm, I suspect that I sent the call for translation updates in our
(debian-l10n-french) mailing list before the changes were made, which
may explain. The translator has been fairly slow in going through our
review process, indeed (this is a new translator and he needs to get
used to our processes). I indeed waited for quite a long time for him
to send the update and, as he finally didn't, I sent the bug report
myself.

I just sent a call for update and I hope it won't take weeks for the
update process to run.....but nobody knows...:-).

Yes, nowadays, we have hard times motivating translators....or
sometimes the people who did translations (sometimes years ago)
vanished, etc. Still, I recommend going through the "call for
translations" process that helps the still working l10n teams to do
their job...

Anyway, thanks for your answer and I hope we'll soon converge to have
a fully translated French translation (it's quite likely that I do it
myself in case nothing comes).
