Hi folks,

I've setup an encrypted rootFS on an external USB HD on an Ubuntu 7.10, and
found out that the encrypted rootfs device wouldn't be found by
the "cryptroot" script as the USB HD was too slow to be discovered by the
kernel with all of its partitions.

Therefore I have created a bug report at Ubuntu :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cryptsetup/+bug/164044

and proposed a patch to the "cryptroot" script, which I attach to this mail,
and that does the job.

(Please Cc: me on answers, I'm not subscribed to the list)
