Hey Swâmi,

As David pointed out, the 'rootdelay' parameter to initramfs already does
what your patch proposes. It waits for the root device to be available.

Therefore we see no reason to apply your patch.

Please see the initramfs-tools(8) manpage for more information about how
to use the boot parameter 'rootdelay'.
