Seconded. I think our team has all the necessary ingredients to maintain
this package. A big pat on the back to us all! :)
I'm currently building -4 for upload, and that concludes my series of
things that I had envisioned to take care of before considering etch. I
said earlier that a week -- two at most -- would be the time to wait
after -3 was uploaded before we would approach the RMs. So I think we
could give -4 a few days in the archive and then ask the RMs to take a
look at it sometime this weekend.
There is one caveat: Postfix integration has never been easy, and in
fact there has been a lot of misleading information around -- I think we
may need to accept that people have broken configs that happen to work
in the 2.1.19 series of the package. We can't anticipate every hackish
solution that people have resorted to when trying to figure out how the
thing works. When #398245 and related bugs have been fixed, it should be
possible to install Postfix + Cyrus SASL according to the provided docs.
