The group's policy so far has been to avoid diverging too much from
upstream.  For now, I would like to wait and see what upstream's
attitude toward the patch is.  If they do not likely, it is not likely
that we would include it as it would represent a significant feature
difference.  If they like it, then I would not be opposed to inclusion
of the patch, so long as it appears that the new upstream release
containing the patch will not make the Lenny cut off.  If it will make
the Lenny cut off, then there is not really a reason for us to patch the
Debian package.
