xrandr on flwm and on pure X diff -q 0:
LVDS connected primary 1600x900+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 310mm x 174mm
   1600x900 59.90*+ 39.93
   1440x900 59.99
   1280x854 59.95
   1280x800 59.96
   1280x720 59.97
   1152x768 59.95
   1024x768 59.95
   800x600 59.96
   848x480 59.94
   720x480 59.94
   640x480 59.94
DisplayPort-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DisplayPort-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DisplayPort-2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
VGA-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

So all three cases use LVDS and know the precise measurements of my display, just e seems to need something additional which alas is not in the dependency list i suppose.

Well, not to clutter up the 976235 at bugs.debian.org, i'll try your suggestion upstream. I'll be back if there's some solution.

Thx & brgds, e.
