Advice:  make it possible that your requested action can be executed
In this case:
* What is the full URL of the (git?) repository?
* What should be the name the new branch?
( What is expected from "a default branch"??)

The repository is:
https://salsa.debian.org/electronics-team/comedilib

And I would like to set the default branch to 
debian/master
which is the standard Debian way AFAIK.

Now I have found out is that I am missing the settings button. I
got that on my qwt repository.

Can you please fix this? Then I can update my package.
