KiCad happily did not have an RC problems while Debian was in previous
release freezes or did have security related issues in the past. So I
never did need to bother the security team or the SRT about any updated
version for a point release.

But due my mistake also the uploads to backports would have that
"special" version then that some users don't understand.
Yes, it's not that the world is going down, but a lot things would be
easier for me and others in this situation if my version upload to
unstable could be killed. If this would simply happen within the typical
unstable/testing workflow I wouldn't ask.
