No, just a mistake.

| Is it freely licensed so that it can be included with the exim4
| packages?
|
| It would be a good idea to ship these files with cyrus.

It is my own file, so i can release it under any license. I put it under
Public Domain, so every reader can use it.

transport/30_exim4-config_cyrus:
# Use this instead of mail_spool if you want to to deliver to Maildir in
# home-directory - change the definition of LOCAL_DELIVERY
#
cyrus:
~ debug_print = "T: cyrus for $local_part@$domain using lmtp"
~ driver = lmtp
~ socket = /var/run/cyrus/socket/lmtp
~ batch_max = 20
~ user = cyrus

router/900_exim4-config_local_user:
local_user:
~ debug_print = "R: local_user for $local_part@$domain
${run{/usr/sbin/mbpath user.${local_part}}}"
~ driver = accept
~ user = cyrus
~ local_part_suffix = +*
~ local_part_suffix_optional
~ condition = ${if eq{${substr{0}{7}{${run{/usr/sbin/mbpath
user.${local_part}}}}}}{Invalid}{No}{Yes}}
~ local_parts = ! root
~ transport = LOCAL_DELIVERY

Thank you for your response and for the package.
Greetings
