Single or multiple configuration files ?

Andreas and Marc,

I have recently installed Exim 4 - 4.50-6, and in the debconf questions I
can choose between one or a fragmented configuration. When I choose one it
looks as if something goes wrong, and I end up with a fragmented
configuration anyway.

If I have interpreted the bug database correctly, it looks as if you have
identified and fixed this bug or something similar (by closing #310703 -
see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=310703).

This should be reflected in the new upload 4.50-7. Will this upload or
4.50-8 reach sarge (I can see Marc requested this on Sunday). But I am not
sure how to iterprete the comment in
http://packages.qa.debian.org/e/exim4.html, where it states that a
"unblock request by cjwatson is ignored due to version mismatch 4.50-6" ??

Can you clarify this (incl. that you have already fixed my problem: that a
single config file was not generated).
