Yes, I've noticed that now and had the problem solved, but...
Shouldn't it be better if there was an option for that?
Or better, why isn't

data = ${lookup{$local_part@$domain}lsearch{/etc/aliases}}

the default, instead of

data = ${lookup{$local_part}lsearch{/etc/aliases}}

?
