yes, that is the case.

Given the choice between ...

a) deliverable Debian-gdm
b) deliverable AMetzler at bebt.de

... my vote goes to b), marking this bug report as wontfix.

The Debian-* users are system users and should generaly not be
accessible by mail under their own id, except with a explicit entry in
/etc/aliases.
