Hi Marc,

I haven't tried exim -bP (I don't know really Exim's command line options). I'm
going to try this evening.

What is sure is that I have no error at all in all Exim log files, and no
mention of accessing my customized file : the option is simply ignored.

I don't understand your last question (sorry for my poor English) : "Does an
straced exim show the file being accessed?"

One remark I've just thought about: my bounce message is generated after
fetchmail retrieves my emails from my external accounts, and the reason of the
bounce message is the detection of spam... Is it possible that for this
particular case the "bounce mechanism" differs somehow and consequently the
option is not the correct one ?

Cheers,
Bruno

Looks like a place where it should work. Does it also show up in exim
-bP output? Does your exim complain in the logs about the file
contents? Does an straced exim show the file being accessed?

Greetings
Marc
