[Pkg-exim4-users] Configuring exim4 for DHCP?

The exim4 docs and the exim4 configuration screens don't seem to have a simple answer for this simple question:

I connect to my ISP using DHCP. For outgoing email, I have the name of their host to connect to (i.e. the exim4 configuration item "dc_smarthost"). How do I configure exim4 for this use case?  That is to say, how should I answer the prompts from "dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config" (or populate my configuration file)? 

I've tried a few combinations but I'm getting a variety of SMTP errors from the ISP's mail host. 

(For incoming mail, mutt can connect and read my mailbox just fine.) 

Any help is greatly appreciated ...
