Unless you have a static public IP address for the host your MUA is on, 
you need to use SMTP AUTH. Unconditional relay from a specific host or 
hosts requires static IP addresses on those hosts. This essentially 
tells exim "you can trust these machines and relay email that comes from 
them, but no one else."
