[Pkg-exim4-users] SPF Support / SUPPORT_SPF

Is there any reason why exim is build without SUPPORT_SPF? Using the 
spf-query-tools means that for every SPF request one Perl interpreter is 
started which leads to a rather heavy load when spammers are sending 
massive amounts of mails in parallel. I'd prefer to use the builtin SPF 
check and not run a Perl Interpretet for every mail I receive.
