[pymvpa] How to create bold.nii.gz?

you do not have to -- nifti.NiftiImage used by PyMVPA is capable of
reading analyze files. It is just that NIfTI is better ;-)

you can use FSL's fslchfiletype, or probably any other modern fMRI
processing suite has its own ability to convert.

so everything depends on the tools you have in your hands ;)
