[pymvpa] MacOSX Installation

I agree with Mike that this is the most likely culprit. On OSX its very easy to end up with multiple python installations that have different pythonpaths. Generally if an installation appears to succeed but then doesn’t load its because you are not running the python that you installed into.

What were your installation steps / how do you know you succeeded in the installation?

It’s possible you installed pymvpa for a different installation of python than is default...

Hi,

I succeeded to install pyMVPA on MacOSX, but after starting python and typing

>> import mvpa2

I get the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named mvpa2

Suggestions?

Best,
Matthias
