First of all: on behalf of the whole community thank you for "testing"
your analysis scripts to validate their correct operation on fake data
before going full steam ahead and applying them to empirical data ! ;-)

And indeed, in case of two-class classification it should be around 0.5
(if classes are balanced etc)
