I meant:
  *I* can't ... (since there is no DM-Upload-to-NEW-Allowed ...)

I asked in #debian-ftp earlier today, lets see what happens.

I had a brief view over it, added the kernel 3.5 patch (no warranty that
it still works, but it won't break < 3.5 due to clean #ifdef usage).

It's ready for an upload (even if it's only minimally tested).
