that's true; the Arabic range was added a while ago to Dejavu but we've
always used Nazli fonts for the graphical installer (IIRC some native speakers
considered dejavu arabic not too good).

Do you think it would make sense to see if it might be doable to consider
switching g-i do use Dejavu rather Nazli for rendering Arabic text?

I can provide test iso images for the tests; in the meanwhile I've created
a screensot [1] which show the same text rendered using nazli (an the left) and
dejavu (on the right)

I can also create more screenshots
