[Pkg-fonts-devel] font-team maintainance?

Hi,
I'd like to make the ttf-larabie (non-free) font package
team-maintained in the fonts team.
What is the proper way to do that? If there is a common way of
packaging fonts, I'd like to switch to that. The current package
probably isn't up to date to font packaging best practises.

I'm not using fonts much these days, so I'd actually like someone else
to take of the package completely; making it team maintained by the
font team seems quite appropriate.

One note: these font packages are huge. I tried using defoma for them
some years ago, but it didn't work very well: back then, Defoma seemed
to exhibit some O(n^2) or O(n^3) kind of behaviour, and installing the
larabie packages would take several hours on older systems.
I didn't try recently if Defoma performance has improved. But if you
add Defoma to the package, make sure to see if the installation speed
is okay!

best regards,
Erich Schubert
