[Pkg-fonts-devel] Contribution to fonts-ibm-plex

Hi,

I've a special interest in having *fonts-ibm-plex* in the mainstream Debian
releases and would like to contribute on DEB packaging and maybe
translations, if needed.

It's currently being distributed to testing and unstable in 1.2.x version.
I would like to provide regular packaging for these fonts, and hopefully
someday have it approved to the mainstream debian relases, including stable.

What are the basic steps I should take to become a contributor?
