I did this and the problem still persists.
I can also reproduce it anytime.

after-downgrade.png is what I have with the older version and
after-upgrade.png is what is happening with the new version.
I did the test with Chromium and Chrome since I don't use them (to
avoid anything that I might have changed in Firefox); in the 3
browsers I have the same behavior.
It's reproducible even without needing to close the browser; if I
upgrade/downgrade, I just need to open a new tab to see the difference
between the two versions.
